Hawaiian Island Wedding

Hawaii is often picked as a place for destination weddings, and for good reason. The islands are so full of color and beauty, and the pacific ocean gives a romantic backdrop to every photo. Oahu specifically, has a laid back and fun atmosphere, and that’s why Gaia and Zane knew it was the place for them to celebrate their wedding day. We were so excited by the unique opportunity to capture an all female bridal party, with pops of red on Gaia’s side and muted mauves on Zane’s. The crackling feminine energy throughout this wedding was so fun to witness!

Zane is from Hawaii so being able to celebrate his and Gaia’s future in the beauty of his home state was such a joy. The spirit of Aloha was all over this day! Zane’s grandparents had these big smiles and would pull us aside to tell us how much we’d love to live here. Come stay with us! They weren’t wrong, as it turns out, Hawaii is one of our favorite places to shoot.

One of the bonuses of bringing Alante out to your destination wedding is that we can do more than just the day of. We went with Gaia and Zane to Diamond Head for a beautiful, moody, day after shoot. When you book a destination wedding with us you can get so much more out of your photography by doing these fun day after sessions. Diamond Head brought out more dramatic landscapes and we were able to capture that newly wed bliss before they went off to the honeymoon.
