Seattle Art Museum Wedding
They say life imitates art, right? Well it must be easy when the most important day of Mackenzie and David’s life was done at the beautiful Seattle Art Museum. For us at least, it was very easy to make art from this couple’s joy and love for one another.
Mackenzie and David started the day by getting ready at the Motif Hotel in downtown Seattle. David helped his sons get their bow ties just right, as a father does. This wedding was truly a family affair and you can really see the excitement as the couple and the boys strolled in the bright lights of the city.
The wedding and reception both took place at Seattle Art Museum and you really can’t get more bold than having the backdrop to your vows be the massive Chinese statues along the museum’s grand staircase. While a small string ensemble played delicately behind them, the couple said their I-Do’s in front of their friends and family.
Dinner and dancing was then set beneath the staggering 105 feet Middle Fork exhibit in the main entrance hall of the museum. A beautiful piece of art created to match the living tree it’s based on; and a perfect piece to fit a PNW wedding. This was truly a party we didn’t want to miss!
